Well, nearly a year on and this is probably our most visited outing spot now, usually for breakfast. We've had a chance to try several of the less common vietnamese options on the menu, and not had a bad meal yet. I would highly recommend the shaking beef, and make sure you get fried rice with it! If you're into the more common vietnamese fare (pho, bahn mi, rice paper rolls) you'll certainly find great options on them here as well, but you won't be disappointed to try something a little more unusual from the menu either!
Since moving to The Gap this has become our regular breakfast local. It's not your typical breakfast cafe, but the local options therein are either generic chains, or a little underwhelming. It's run by a Vietnamese family, and certainly the stand-out on their menu is the traditional cuisine. I would particularly recommend the bahn mi variants (both grilled & steamed), the pho and the rice paper rolls! Prices are very reasonable & quality is great! They also have a moderate selection of baked sweets, and pies that are a step up from any other local options we've found. Give it a try if you're in the area!
