This company falsely advertises their cost and fees. I chose because of their no call out fee and no fix no charge. The guy couldn't fix it and because I nneded some data from my hard drive, he charged me $145 for effectively half hour work. He failed to ring me back when he said he would and failed to deliver my pc when he said he would. He had a tendency to talk over me when on the phone and even put the phone down on me. Not recommended!

Had a great experience with Geekmobile - I needed my laptop repaired the tech knew within 5 mins that it was the RAM which needed to be replaced and advised me on the best place to get a new RAM and showed me how to replace it myself.

The no fix no fee guarantee means absolutely nothing. We called them out to our office, the technician spent over about 3 hours and was not able to fix the issue. His solution was to send a help desk request to microsoft..... Then the invoice arrived in the personal name of our receptionist which has now been referred to a debt collector. Avoid this company at all cost.
Needed a power jack replaced. When I phoned I was told not a problem as the technician would have the part and the technician would be there at 5.30pm and it would take under 45mins. The technician phoned and due to the technician's accent, it was very hard to comprehend what the technician was saying. The technician then informed me they could not do the work and they would have to take away the laptop. I was not happy as this is not what was promised. The technician was rude so I told them to forget it.
Thanks for your feedback Ishkaa. Out of fairness we would like to clarify a couple of things. Since the work description indicated to our staff that offsite repairs (soldering) would be required, our technician called ahead before coming onsite. During this call our tech was advised that you only wanted to proceed if the repair could be carried out onsite, which we could not do due to the nature of the repair, so the booking was cancelled. No work was done, no service was attended to. We are sorry we could not accommodate your request this time.
