Geekmobile

In the initial phone conversation, the person diagnosed the problem as best they could while making assurances that my hard drive issue could be resolved. Turns out it could be fixed (for the price of a cheap new computer) but the memory couldn't be retrieved despite the previous claim. It took just under 48 hours to get my laptop back, which I need for my work. Customer service staff made life difficult.
GST is not included in the price, they charge by 45 minutes with 15 minutes addition to reach the per hour charge but cap the price of servicing for 2 hours. It is rather confusing and makes calculating the cost of the service more difficult than it needs to be. I would have though GST included in pricing or at least clearly stated was a requirement and not hidden in the terms and conditions fine print.
Only positive was Jono the technician who tried to go above and beyond but held back by their bad GeekMobile business model and service staff.

I do recommend Geekmobile. I called them one month ago and request someone to come and replace my PC graphic card. technician arrived on time and he checked the PC before replacing the card, after finishing the checkup he told me its dust issue and pulled up the old graphic card and clean the pins and clean dust over the motherboard and all internal parts and thats it. he was profisional, smart and saved my money :)

would recommend NOT using geek mobile, biggest regret making contact,feel they took advantage of my lack of computer knowledge, my laptop had connection issues and they couldn't fix it (but still charged so much for "no fix no fee" Guarantee).had to get another tech to fix their stuff up, my laptop only needed a simple driver update to fix the issue. Also in their messing around they managed to delete 2 users.
