Have used these guys before and they were fantastic. Not so now however. Rang to book and was told of a $150 cancellation fee. I was desperate so I said 'ok whatever.' Bad move. 9 hours prior to the technician arriving I had an emergency at work and rang to cancel. Without even a mention of rescheduling I was proudly told I would be facing a $150 cancellation fee. They were not remotely interested in why, they just wanted $$$ from me regardless. Have since used a far cheaper and excellent service with NO cancellation fee threats. I have a feeling some of these glowing reviews may be faked? Use them if you want but be careful.

I needed some help with home wifi system and had been recommended Geeks2U. Their website included plenty of praise via facebook posts. I arranged a time as late in the day as practical. As many other people are these days...I am an hourly rate contractor and having to take time off work hurts. Geeks2U made it clear during the phone booking that the technician would arrive between 3:30 and 4:30, so I left work at 2:30 to make sure I was home in time, but assumed the technician would arrive around 4:00 for what I judged to be less than 1 hours work. Then...nothing. At 5:15 just as I was getting ready to leave to another appointment, I received a call from a consultant to let me know the technician was "running late". I would never have guessed. I explained that I was no longer available and the consultant suggested another time...which I impolitely declined. I guess I will be finding other geeks that can at least ring and let you know that they are running late ...read more
