Gelobar is renowned for its excellent homemade ice cream cakes and chocolate, homemade gelati, ice-cream, biscuits and cakes. Gelati flavours include all of the favourites as well as specialties such as apple pie, blood orange and passionfruit sorbet, nutty nougat and baci. On warm summer nights the locals queue for their favourite flavour then sit outside and savour every mouthful. Gelobar also serves homemade gnocchi and lasagna, sandwiches, foccacia and great coffee. Everything is made on the premises by a team of dedicated staff. Dine indoors or outdoors.

The best gelati shop in Melbourne with the best variety of flavours of fruity and the other old favourites like hazelnut and rum and raisin. The coffee here is great and the gelati is so fresh as it's made on the premises. The staff are really friendly and in summer the place is always packed
Best gelato bar in melbourne. The gelato is all hand made on the premises and the variety of flavours (especially in summer) is magnificent. The flavours are so good, lucky they have take home containers as well. The cakes are great too and you can get individual ones or bigger ones that are quite well priced. I love visiting there at Easter when the eggs hang from the roof.
