I am really disappointed by the lack of communication by Genea. My doctor was very clear that the nursing staff would be in contact with me and that they would be able to start the collection process straight away. No one contacted me at all and when I called up to find out what was happening I was told that it's too late for this month and that my doctor is going away so another doctor would have to do the procedure. Now cause of the lack of communication I'm going to miss out on my doctor doing the procedure and get stuck with someone else. So much for world class treatment! If they want the patients to contact them they should give them the phone number to call, so that you don’t have to search for it, and give printed instructions of when to call. At the moment with their current procedure of calling to find out what on earth is happening and crystal ball would be of more help.
