Genkotsu Ramen

Fantastic local ramen-ya, and arguably one of the best in Brisbane. A big queue at busy times so be prepared to wait, but they're very quick and efficient about it - it moves quickly! Really flavoursome ramen broth and some tasty sides as well. Would recommend if you're in the area.

One of my favourite places in toowoong to eat! The broth isn't the best I've had, but it's pretty value for money and a decent eat here! Favourite is the soft shell crab ramen- sweetest broth there

Exceptional service, adorably styled Japanese restaurant, and some absolutely delicious ramen. The perfect place for dinner on a cold winters night, and it won't even break the budget.

So happy that Genkotsu Ramen has opened in Toowong as there's not very many good ramen places in this side of town.

If you're a fan of authentic Japanese Ramen, Genkotsu serves a pretty good range my favourite being the fish-base broth, but the pork broth are good too.

They have various toppings from the traditional pork slices to chicken karaage and soft shell crab.

They also have a few small rice dishes for less than $5 which is good value if you want something a bit extra or you're with a friend who doesn't eat much.

Of course with any good ramen places you have to get the pan fried gyoza to go with it - which are delicious!!!

The ramen are generally under $15 a serving and you can get free noodles top up too if you haven't finished your broth. Itadakimaaaaasu!

Super happy this legendary ramen restaurant open its chain in Toowong! Love the variety, big fan of the fish roe and soft shell crab ramen. Very friendly Japanese style service and food was served promptly. Noodle cooked to perfection and they even asked for the "firmness" of the noodle I wanted. Definitely coming back again!
