I was fitted for reading glasses at this place and was told they'd call me when ready. Ater about a month I hadn't heard from them so I went in only to be told that I had already collected them. I assured them I hadn't but rather than apologising and admitting they'd screwed up, they persisted with their story that they phoned me and I came in and got my glasses and that pethaps I'd forgotten because "you know, we get a lot of crazy people around here", and when I replied "isn't it more feasible the glasses were lost or broken and someone doesn't want to admt it?", the optician said "we break glasses all the time here". Really? You break glasses all the time? It was a very weird experience and I still can't understand why they behaved that way.
