Had such a great experience at George's on Queen last night after my brother and I searched far and wide for a suitable venue to treat our auntie for our reunion. Thanks goes out to the chefs who cooked to perfection the most amazing lobster and veil without holding back on the proportions (thumbs up). The waiters were a charm to speak with and even went above and beyond to regulate the room temperature to accommodate for my aunties cold without us even ask. My first delightful surprise however was the set up and design of the place with its modern blue lit interior and Christmas decorations. Thanks guys for the great experience :)
One of my regular breakfast spots, I started coming here about 10 years ago, a little tradition with my mother and sister before school on a Friday and now in my twenties it is still one of my fav places to go for breakfast, the quality and service standard has not changed, the breakfasts are always made perfectly, and they have alot to choose from, my favourite is the eggs and bacon benedict and fresh squeezed juice. We are always greeted with s smile from a happy staff member and can honestly say I have never been disappointed. As I said one of my fav places for breakky and can't see that changing any time soon.
Since arriving in the Macarthur region in 2003 we have eaten at Georges regularly - at least monthly and often more regularly.
It is a good honest restaurant as far as food is concerned. Good value and unpretentious. The service is excellent, food fantastic and value leaves most restaurants in the area for dead.
Our family are regulars at George's, and we cannot fault it! The food is always delicious, and the service one of the best in the area. The staff bend over backwards to ensure that those of us with food allergies can have a delicious meal in a safe environment. We cannot thank them enough for the countless times they have accomodated our (sometimes demanding) needs, and for being the one place in the area we trust our 4 year old anaphylactic niece to eat safely. Highly recommend! :)
The food is nice, nothing to rave about though. I did purchase a muffin there the other day which was quite hard and stale. The prices are slightly high for a cafe lunch midweek, but acceptable for a light dinner on a Friday/Saturday night. The owners should not bring there children to work, customers don't need to listen to your family arguments.
