George's Paragon Seafood Restaurant

This place has gone so far down hill , it is at the bottom.

10 years ago , the food was great , fish and chips huge and staff fantastic

Well how things changed. I ws embarrased when I took friends last night to be served very small fish coctails ( so called whiting) with dried up chips just thrown onto the plate .

We eventually got served after an hour and never saw the waiter again all night , so no drinks.

I noticed all other meals where mean and the garlic bread was dry and hard . A sad demise but they don't care as they get the tourists.

Never felt so humiliated in my life after waiting for 1 hour and 50 minutes. The worst thing is that my husband came up to this girl the numbers for the customers after an hour of waiting that taking that are willing to wait but told him that there will be another 2 tables before us however they called atleast 10 numbers and until we asked about ours and they said that they mistakenly over looked at our number. I am so angry and humiliated and I never cried for a bad service we received until then. Sometimes sorry it is just too little too late. We left as I couldn't order and enjoy the food as I was sobbing in tears and felt humiliated.

Had the whole sole fish was swimming in oil on the plate, nothing to flash for a heigh class place. Male toilets need an up date, less than 20cm between urnials shoulder to shoulder at a place like this is a bit average.

For a romantic night out at Sanctuary Cove this would have to be the place. The food is really good but a little on the expensive side, the service is very attentive and friendly. We've been here for lunch as well but dinners my pick even if it's just got the "mood" lighting. Good Greek food.

Last night was an absolute disgrace, we waited for two hours for our main for a table of three, the food warm my was stone cold,, had to be reheated when say cold it was fridge cold the waiter tried his best but he felt like the caption on the titanic there was nothing he could do accept for notifying the shift manager.
Which gave us al a free mains.

While we were waiting we noticed the que was getting longer while t.he front part of the restaurant was closed people lining up waiting forever to be seated this an equally disgrace. ...read more
