George's Seafood Of Rosebud

I went there with Elise for lunch yesterday afternoon and I had a Plain Steak Sandwich with a Potato Cake and she had 4 Steamed Dim Sims and.a Potato Cake. We both really enjoyed it so we will be back.

an old school fish & chippery, it looks like it hasnt had a facelift since it opened. but really, you dont come here for the good looks, you do however come here fir traditional fish & chips. Unfortunately, they just dont cut it. maybe ive been spoiled, perhaps tarnished by all these nouveau fish & chippers but georges did a serviceable, yet far from what id term "return worthy". if you're a local & you've built up a love over the years, i wont dis that but if not, maybe keep your options open - there are lots of options around.

Great fish and chips ,but what do you expect from Rosebud most established Seafood /fish & chip joints. If you pass them by you will miss a bit of Rosebud seaside history. The staff are friendly and usually family. Even if you just want to walk the pier . a bundle of Georges fish and chips completes the experience. Oh and don't forget the seagulls.
