I have taken my last 3 corgis to Dr Chris for around 15 years now. They have all had the absolute best of care and I would always recommend him to anyone and have on many occasions. He is always reasonably priced which is a rarity in his field. I am very sad ?? that he is retiring ands know for a fact he will be greatly missed by many. ??
My father and I have been bringing our dogs and cats to georgetown vetinary clinic for the past decade. No matter the problem, Dr Chris has always been able to help us. His knowledge and experience is truely invaluable.
If you want a real vet who knows his stuff and genuinely cares, not just about the animals but also their owners, I highly recomend you take your pet to georgetown vetinary clinic.
I found a lost dog in the neighbourhood, so I took it to the nearest vet for help, as most vets will check for a microchip and even keep the dog until the owner comes to collect it. Not this guy. I explained what happened, and he said it wasn't his responsibility, that he's not a dog-catcher, I can't make my problem his problem, he can't check for a chip, and if he kept the dog in a kennel and the dog defecated, who would pay to clean it up? I was stunned. He was kind enough to look up the phone number to the city council so that I could call them WITH MY OWN PHONE and report the dog. The lady at the council and the dog catcher both told me that he was in the wrong. He's one of two vets in Newcastle who behaves this way. His lack of compassion was astonishing, and I wouldn't trust him with ANYTHING I care about.
