German Club Tivoli

The venue is congenial for groups, although the dcor is dated. If you need reminding why German food is not listed in great cuisines of the world, come here. The food is hearty and filling, if you like that sort of thing but there are definitely better places for a traditional German meal and beer.
I called Club Tivoli today to ask to speak to the management who the family knows but the service person would not tell me who the management is, would not pass the message on and would not give the name. We have been to club Tivoli since children in our family as a part of our German heritage. I am very disappointed that I can not speak to the German management to make a booking for many people and it is disappointing that my father and mother have cancer thus I can not make a last dinner with the family and friends all together, at this venue with the German Community in the Western Suburbs.
I grew up going to German Club Tivoli. It is a part of my heritage. I am disappointed I bought a deal for people to go to the club. I was a tiny bit past the date. The deal coupon said it was okay for club Tivoli to honour it but they refuse due to costs of the catering. I told them that my father is German and he is terminally ill and dying at the moment and my mother also diagnosed with cancer. That it would be nice if we could use it before my mothers surgery and before my father passes away. He is already deteriorating fast. I wanted to do something nice for him but feel the family and our upbringing one last time. The food is good is we are German too and we like it ha ha. The Germans like good food and drink. I am only a pensioner myself and I bought the vouchers for 100. I believe the whole German community in St Albans will be disappointed too. I grew up going to places like Club Tivoli and I find it sad that it is not working as a community with us.
Enjoyable and pleasant for a very hot Melbourne weather day of 44 degrees. We started off with some soup as entree, French Onion and Ham & Pea, these were ok. The main was a farmers dish and a meat selection plater. I have to admit they were really good. Some of the nicest sausages I've eaten.
