Gertie's is an eclectic little bar with great personality and awesome cocktails. The bar staff are super friendly and there's always something unusual to look at in the decor space. Great to have a glass of wine before heading out to dinner or going to the movies.

Went on a Thursday night before a movie with a friend and we both enjoyed the $20 steak & Shiraz with potatoes, beans & mushroom sauce.
Friendly service.
Tried seating in the sunken area but the stools on one side of the table towered over the low couch seating on the opposite side. Opted for the high bar stool seating instead.
Good priced feed.

Lovely little bar, but no beer on tap. Worth looking up the week day specials, Thursday Steak and Shiraz for $20 is surprisingly good!
