A larger store than the one in the city centre with a room attached to the back of the store for cooking classes (see website for details). This Gewurzhaus in Hawksburn Village is the only one in Melbourne which has cooking classes. The ladies are very friendly and informative, knowledgable about the products sold, always ready to give guides and help sorting out gifts. Gifts are always packaged beautifully and look elegant. When choosing tea or spices, one is welcome to lift the lid of the containers for a little while to have an idea of the aroma. We had to resist opening every single lids as not to give ourselves an even harder choices.
This is a store we would come back to every now and again.
