My favourite place. I’m a local and I come here whenever I can for a cappuccino. The barrista makes the best coffee, Toby’s Estate never tasted so good. On the weekends, it’s my go-to brunch spot with incredible dishes from mango mousse to corn frittas and the best egg and bacon roll. The staff are super friendly too.
Redfern needed a cafe like Gibbons Street Cafe. It's throwing distance from one of Sydney's busiest stations. The food is beautifully presented with flavours of Asia running through each of the dishes we sampled on our visit. Highlights included the Bangkok Brekkie Eggs and the Linguine with chorizo and cherry tomato with lots of chilli garlic oil thrown in to really spice things up. Coffee is of a high standard and even a strawberry milkshake hits the spot, with beautifully balanced flavours.
One of the best cafes we've been to in the Redfern area and it's ambience and service make it a really pleaseant experience.
A lovely little cafe that would be an instagrammers dream with colour changing drinks, matcha lattes and fluffy pancakes with honeycomb. I like the decor and styling of this cafe, bright and open and welcoming. Close to Redfern station, and easy enough to find a park. I had a lavender soda which was nice and refreshing, and my friend had a latte. For a meal, I had the vegan meal with kale, beetroot hummus and falafel. Whilst this was nice and healthy it lacked flavour. My friend had the cheeseburger and chips which was a nice meal, a brioche type bun with salad and cheese. I’d be keen to try pancakes there as they looked good.
