Ginger Hair is located on Elizabeth Street in Sydney so come in and get to know us, check out the salon and our friendly staff.
We know it can be stressful when you're trying out a new hairdresser so we encourage you to phone us about coming in for a consultation. That way you can feel more relaxed with us and the services we provide to you.
We take great pride in all the services we perform and we believe our flagship service, the Ionic Straightening Perm (or Thermal Reconditioning), is second to none. For this procedure we only use the Shiseido Crystallizing Straight products which are renowned for giving the best quality finish.
With many salons currently offering permanent ionic straightening and using the Shiseido product, why do we think our services are second to none? Well firstly we have 14 years of experience doing this procedure, we currently average around 35 - 40 clients each week with many clients coming back time after time, and to top this off our prices are also extremely competitive. I love to come here for Japanese Hair Straightening. They're a lovely no-nonsense family business, which means they'll be honest about what they can achieve with your hair, depending on your hair type and condition. i.e. They won't sell you unneccessary products and services to make a quick buck, nor will they proceed with your requests if they think your requests will leave your hair in a poorer state. (With many hairdressers you often don't notice the damage done until you've gone home and washed your hair.) While the service is quite blunt and direct (no 5-star spa resort fauning over customers here), the results you get for the prices can't be beaten.
Good service -- they did a fantastic job of straightening my hair! Very nice people, although they sometimes go off and leave you by yourself mid-way and serve someone else: annoying. But overall a good experience, very friendly and most importantly my hair looks fab!
