Girrawa is part of a working beef cattle farm of 4,500 acres and is situated just 15 minutes from the town of Coonabarabran. The farm stay house is surplus to the requirements of the farm and has been refurbished and is fully furnished.
Girrawa is only 2 ks from the Newell/Oxley highway so is very easy to access by travellers. However it is very quiet and the world can keep going right on by and you don't need to know if you don't want to. The Belar Creek valley runs out of the Warrumbungle Mountains and there are exceptional views up to the mountains. Walking on the farm is a treat with vantage points that afford panoramas as far as the eye can see in all directions.
