Glen Davis Works lies adjacent to the Wollemi National Park at the head of the Colo River surrounded by the majestic escarpments of the Capertee Valley, just a little over three hours from Sydney.The two houses on the property have been restored to every modern comfort, built in 1938 for the Manager and Director of the National Oil Co which was commissioned to open the oil shale processing works at Glen Davis. The houses have been totally refurbished and are suitable for small groups. Each house accommodates up to nine people and is extremely comfortable with everything included (bedding, doonas, pillows, electric blankets, modern kitchens with all cooking equipment, espresso coffee machine and barbecue's). Although self-contained and meals can be arranged if required.The property is extremely private, on 250 acres and encompasses The Ruins of the oil shale plant.
