Whenever I'm in the area, it's hard not to drop by and order a kebab from Glenroy Kebab House. It's usually busy in the evenings however meals tend to come out quick once you've ordered (eat in or take away, you still need to order at the front). Their warm turkish bread is also awesome! Recommend: Mixed lamb & chicken meal. Somethng different: Cheese and spinach pide.
Being in the area and having felt like a kebab for some time, and having to be on pascoe vale road, Kebab house was the first i popped into. I ordered my usual as i would at any kebab store or caravan. Lamb with extra garlic and chilli sauce. The bread was fluffy and really soft and not the thin pita bread that is rolled up and toasted. The filling was also good with the lamb being juicy and the flavours of the sauce mixing it was not dry compared to other places. What touches it off is the slight taste of the raw onions which gives it a good kick after each bite. Although the serving was not large or long, the style wrapping of the kebab was more open, i really enjoyed it. I don't get the opportunity or need to be in Glenroy very often but at least i know i can come back to Kebab house if ever in the area. The man serving was really quick which makes me satisfy my craving faster.
