Came here for a hens day out and loved it. The horses are lovely and the staff are helpful and take care to make sure you're feeling comfortable. There was a short wait to get started at the start of our guided horse riding tour, but that was expected as we had a group of about 20. Located only half an our from Hornsby, it makes for a great day trip activity.
I had the pleasure of shoeing the horses at glen worth riding for many years both the school horses and the agisters, I have travelled the world and never seen a better run horse riding organisation, the pastures are so well managed, the horses are carefully chosen, the scenery is second to none, don't hesitate to visit Glenworth Valley. I'm an experienced horse rider and I can confidently say that this place is great!! it's Australian bush style riding - stock saddle, English bit and long reins, so don't expect well educated dressage horses, but for trail riding the horses are amazing! forward moving well tempered and easy to control. they have horses of all different shapes and sizes so you will easily find one that's perfect for you. the trails are wide, soft and open. nature is beautiful. you ride through creeks and get to canter along grass fields. staff is super friendly and helpful. if you are experienced you get to go out on your own which is great. only minus is that some of the horses looked a bit skinny. I highly recommend this place for trail rides! can't wait to go back!
