A few months back I rung the office and spoke to someone about replacing one of the panels on my garage door. The Gliderol door was part of our Metricon build. The lady then was lovely, looked up our details, told me the size, the colour, options for window panels - Oxford or the Hampton. How much for the new panel $674/694 and for an extra $200 it would be delivered and installed. Today I rung back to organise it, and spoke to another lady, who promptly told me that no one at the office would have quoted me, they didn't do that and they wouldn't be looking my details up because there would be no need as they wouldn't have done that. Who was the lady I spoke to ..... unfortunately after a few months I've forgotten her name, wish I'd remembered it as I wouldn't have to dealt with this muppet - who's name I won't forget. After it was damaged I asked for a quote, they told me they would call in 24 hrs. 3 days later i did get a call, but it was from an installer that told me that had to call me back the next day to give me a quote after I had already given all my info. I would hate to think how long it will take to actually get one - too bad i wanted it fixed quickly.
I've had a gliderol roller door with remote for around 7 years. In that time the motor has had several problems. I eventually decided to replace the door. I called gliderol who said a representative would call me back in about 3 days.....I never received the phone call. I am disappointed that I couldn't speak with someone immediately and to be told a 3 day wait is outrageous. Not recommended at all.
