I wouldnt recommend global education academy to any parent. It's not worth it at all. It's all marketing. The qulaity of material is not upto the mark. They are 4 times more expansive than other tutoring colleges but when it comes to delivering the conrent, they are no where close to other tutoring classes. I will be surpsied if someone can pass oc and selective by learning what they are teaching. Its very basic. I wasted my child's time. they sign up up for 2 terms. Please do your reserach before you enrol.
Hi jbfruitworld,
Thanks for your feedback. We’re sorry your experience didn’t match your expectations.
We have developed our structured programs that align with the Australian curriculum and written based on CLT. These programs are delivered via our textbooks by our qualified teachers. We are also fairly priced, with classes starting at $49ph.
We also pride ourselves on preparing students to sit the OC and selective placement tests, and we boast an 80% success rate. We have been helping students achieve their dreams of making it into OC and Selective for over 10 years now. As these placement tests are very competitive, for example, only 30% of students ...read more
There are few key difference that I noticed between the teaching at Global Education Academy and other tutoring schools.
1. Their classes do not usually exceed more than 10 students which is very important for the kids to remain focused and get attention. Some kids are more comfortable in a learning environment that has limited students and they are confident that their questions and clarifications will be addressed.
2. The UPLS strategy used in teaching Mathematics gives the students a structured way of thinking and solving rather than jumping straight to the ...read more
I do not recommend that you enrol your child in this centre. My daughter went her for a year, if she wasn’t on a contract I would have pulled her out much earlier. They are very good at marketing themselves and convincing you to enrol, but once you sign up, you get a feeling you’re just in a factory assembly line. All the personal touches disappear and they let you communicate only through this group inbox which is managed by multiple people (and from my experience they don’t talk to each other). At the start of one term, they didn’t even know which class to put my daughter in, so it gives you an indication how much focus they give individual students. But my biggest disappointment with this centre is their lack of adequate communication as far as how your child performing in the class. All you get towards the end of the term are the mock test results (for example if your child is preparing for the Opportunity Class placement). When I noticed my daughter’s results ...read more
My 7 year old son absolutely loves attending classes at Global Education Academy. He is now focused, confident and actually enjoys doing his homework. This is refected by the good marks he is achieving at school, and his school teacher has seen a huge improvement. He is now more focused, co-operative and eager to learn. I recommend Global Education Academy to anyone who wants to supplement their childs education.
