The company charges for lessons that they are unable to provide and refuse to answer the phone or reply to emails or text messages.
If possible book in the respective teacher privately and leave out Global Music. The company takes your money without providing service.
Unbelievably bad customer service! Would not reccomend to anyone. I had to ask if I could just pay for 1 lesson as a trial. Thank God I didn't pay upfront for the term. 1st lesson was cancelled. The instructor was lovely when I eventually had my 1st lesson and no reflection on him but he was given no materials to give me, and it was his first ever lesson that he had given. I'm not even convinced that Chris has even met him.
Anyway I was given a phone number to strictly TEXT ONLY if something came up, as they don't answer the phone.
The day after my lesson I texted to say another opportunity had come up and I wouldn't be continuing.
No reply! I texted again asking for confirmation.. no reply!
Have never come across such an unprofessional, overpriced set up in my life! An absolute joke! Don't do it!!!
Ridiculously BAD customer service. This is what our 10 weeks looked like:
- Took them weeks to reply to our emails/messages
- Outright ignoring our emails/messages after we paid
- Set a time for a class and then 30 minutes after the expected class told us the teacher will be there soon.
As they stopped replying after we paid, we were seriously worried that they were just going to run away with our money.
Appalling service - it was $69 for a 45 minute class. It is much cheaper, safer and more effective to learn online.
I'd strongly, strongly recommend against using this horrid company.
Now I understand why they asked my home address three times when I emailed them - THEY CHANGE STAFF. No one person consistently monitors customers. Once they get your money, they don't care what to do with you. I'm so glad I found out how awful they are before even paying money. In your case, you had already paid. I'm so sorry to hear about this!!!
We pay over $500 for a term of lessons we have not had 1/4 of the lessons. The poor instructor said he was not being paid by the owner so we really felt for him. They change their phone number multiple times, they don't have a customer support line or anyone contactable. We've tried contacting them and they just ignore you. I'll be writing to the ombudsman.
