Globe Cafe

This cafe used to be my favourite in Coogee. Just went there again today and what a big disappointment with the new team. We arrived and the waitress told us to sit wherever we wanted. All the tables were messy (with plates and glasses from the previous customers) but we took one anyway, thinking she would come cleaning it up straight away. We literally waited for about 20 minutes with no one paying attention to us... The cafe wasn't even that busy, but the team looked more interesting in playing with each other or screaming in French in the cafe. They didn't even bring us the menu. We decided to leave, the waitress said bye without asking anything. Such a shame, this place used to be great :(

#reviewtowin The food at the Globe is always delicious, their coffee is also really good. The love eggs are my favourite the muesli is also delicious, the servings at the Globe are also very generous. The only down side is that the cafe is often busy so you do sometimes have to wait for a table, but once you are seated have ordered, the food is delivered quickly, the outdoor tables are great spot for some sunshine and people watching!

Good food... sometimes it's a hit or miss on the service...



But probably one of the better choices on Coogee Bay Road

Excellent smoothies and Chai lattes. really good brekkie after a night at the CBH.
Well worth the wait on the weekends and there's something on the menu for everyone.

Love the coffee at Globe! They are massive - three shots a pop in a huge glass. Breakfasts are great too although after going there time after time you get a bit over having so many flavours on a plate. They will split bills too which is handy when you're going with friends.
