Gloria Jean's Coffees
My pregnant wife and I went there today. We bought a piece of carrot cake to share. We walked over to the table and my wife slipped a little and dropped the cake on the floor. The person working there just laughed at her and walked off. We took the piece of cake up and my wife said well I can't eat that. The woman took it still with a smile and half laugh. As we were slowly walking out the staff member was talking to the manager and they were both laughing about it. When she saw I was looking she stopped laughing and went back to making coffee. Do not go here these people are horrendous!
I have been going to this Gloria Jeans for the past 6 months or so on a weekly basis, the staff always greet me with a welcoming smile. Just the other day I was sitting and enjoying my coffee when I witnessed the staff personally deliver a drink and food to a customer who was feeding her baby at the table opposite me.
Such great service!
I highly recommend the coffee here and there food always taste fresh.
Very poor service- as soon as you walk in you aren't greeted with a smile or hello, you are treated as if you are a hinderance. In my experience & having worked in retail & specifically coffee shops, this is the biggest no no. An immediate turn off. The coffee is also below par. Very ordinary.
Can't tell you the last time I stepped inside a Gloria Jeans, and unfortunately after this experience it will be the same amount of time again. With little other options and a desire for coffee we ventured in. Orders taken quickly, tables in cafe were littered with cups etc. so we chose the least cluttered and cleared it ourselves. Don't mind doing this when cafe is super busy, but this place at 3:30pm on a Saturday afternoon wasn't. Orders arrived and two out of the three items were incorrect. But not far wrong, so we just dealt with it. Coffee was disappointing :-(
