I don't think having a smoking area is a valid reason to rate a coffee shop poorly.
Smoke could easily be avoided by entering via the inside entrance.
I have been going here since it opened and the staff and workers are second to none in the shopping centre. The service and happy staff is what Brings people back. The coffee is better than any other Gloria jeans I have tried, in fact I don't go to others anymore. The staff remember names easily and orders which makes ordering efficient.
I don't overly like GJ's coffee but this place is the worst. The only way to grab a coffee is to walk through a thick haze of disgusting second hand smoke. The place looks feral because of the smokers. Give it a miss, there are other much nicer coffee shops in the shopping centre.
Very quick service but I'm not a fan of their coffees. I do however like their fruit smoothie type drinks ... the mango is delicious. It's a lovely place to sit and read the paper on a Sunday morning or meet up with friends when the weather is nice it is nice to sit out the front...
Gloria Jean's is conviently located in the Stud Park shopping cnetre with a kmart and a coles, and safeway nearby along with other specialty shops. The store isnt as spacious as some but still serves the best coffee and hot chocolates around, the white choco one is the best!
