GLOW Clinic provides holistic emotional health and wellbeing services for new and expectant mums and dads, infants, children and families, from pre conception until kindergarten age.
We believe you can't separate the mind from the body and you can't separate the baby from the family when approaching health and wellbeing.
Our wellbeing services include:
Yoga: pre natal yoga, post natal yoga and mums and bubs yoga.
Dietitian/nutritionist: nutrition during pre conception, pregnancy and breastfeeding, gestational diabetes management, pregnancy weight management, weight loss post baby, toddler nutrition, introducing foods, managing fussy eating and allergies.
Women's health physiotherapist: Pelvic floor problems, incontinence, pregnancy back pain, safe exercise during pregnancy, safe exercise after baby, mastitis management, TENS education for labour and clinical Pilates instruction.
Our early parenting support includes a lactation consultant and paediatrician specialising in newborns ( eg colic, reflux).
GLOW's paediatrician also has a special interest in behavioural and developmental disorders ( eg ADHD, Autism spectrum disorders) and is supported by an infant and child psychologist. Our peadiatric team sees children from zero up to Grade 6.
Psychology @ GLOW supports mums and dads / mums and dads-to be, in all aspects of adjusting to parenthood, bonding difficulties between parent and child and pre and post natal anxiety and depression.
We have a dedicated male psychologist to support dads.
Psychiatry @ GLOW consists of experienced perinatal psychiatrists able to provide expert, up to date advice and management on all mental health issues around pregnancy and early parenting, including the safe use of medications in pregnancy and breastfeeding.
