Shocked at the price - cannot believe this is legitimate. Having made the same 11km journey from Chermside to the Airport half a dozen times in a month, and always paid $25-$35, I'm charged over $50 the first time I used this company. Given it was 10pm and there was no traffic, this was a big surprise.
How can this happen if the 'government sets the rates'?? Same route, double the price. The origin point on my invoice says 'city' instead of 'airport' - when I called to discuss this, I was told 'sometimes they make mistakes on the receipt' and that it always costs a minimum of $20 to get from one side of the airport to the other - how is this possible when I've gotten home multiple times for only $25??
Also, the cab number didn't match the car number on the invoice.
I call shenanigans. Avoid.
57,90 $ from Sydney Hyde Park to the airport on 3:30 a.m. with NO traffic. That was an extremely expensive trip to the airport. The driver was listening to loud pop music while he was driving and did dancing moves!!
Contacted the company after that "experience" viat their website - they never answered! NEVER AGAIN!!!
Disgusting customer service on the phone number that is listed for lost property. Called today and was met with the worst phone manner I have ever encountered. Rude and then refusual to give me a name or anything so that I could avoid speaking to the same person again next time I called. Phone gives option to push 3 for lost property and then you are transfered to someone who tells you its the wrong number you need to call somewhere else.
