A group of 8 visited Gnarabar on the weekend and the food was simply outstanding. Food and drinks service was a little slow however our waiter was attentive and polite enough to make up for it - always there to refill our glasses and check if the meal was ok.
For entre we shared a couple of servings of the herb bread and the bread with Dukkah. Very nice, hot and fresh
I ordered the porterhouse steak for my main and it was amazing.
Strangely though, I ordered my meal to be without cherry tomatoes and the 4 other people who ordered the same dish as me didn't get tomatoes either.
Our group didn't order dessert as there wasn't anything on the list that appealed to us. The dessert list was a bit 'try hard' to put it into simple terms. Some may enjoy it though.
I will definitely be going back. The food was too good not to!
Whether you eat in the bar or the restaurant you can always count on a great atmosphere, delicious and affordable food and yummy cocktails at Gnarabar. You must try the strawberry caprioska cocktail (my favourite!) . Affordable prices and delicious meals. There is even a takeaway menu so you can enjoy the meals at home.
In the bar area there are pool tables and couches to enjoy a more relaxed 'chilled out' meal or drinks with mates. Or eat in the restaurant for more formal dining.
Gnarabar is my favourite restaurant in the Margaret River area. I have been there countless times over the past 5 years and have never had a bad experience. Enjoy! :)
