Bought a hugely expensive Wertheim vacuum here a few years ago after a lot of pushing from the salesman, which I always hated as it didn't really clean well and was fiddly to use. When the motor carked it inside warranty, we took it back only to be told there was some technicality why the motor wasn't covered. But they would be delighted to take the broken vacuum from us and sell us a new hugely expensive vacuum discounted by $50. For some reason we were less than hugely impressed.
They kept pressuring us so much, and we decided to take our busted vacuum away and do business elsewhere. I then sold the vacuum for spare parts on ebay for $130. And we bought ourselves a much better new vacuum also off ebay for about a third of what Godfreys wanted to charge us.
Lesson learnt, I'll never shop there again, and I'll tell anyone in the market for a vacuum to steer well clear of them.
