Gold Coast University Hospital
Had a recent visit when hubby had a kidney stone. The staff were lovely. He was offered a private room due to our health cover and included shower & toilet in-room.
The large food court on ground level included a chemist and lots of eatery & coffee options.
Parking is all at a cost in a large car park opposite the hospital with covered walkway in between.
Good signage to find where you need to go.
Really huge new university hospital at Southport on the Gold Coast, to replace the old GC hospital. It's so big, clean, fresh & well decorated. There's quite a large food court although when I visited, there was only a coffee shop & a nice sushi place open.
I visited two friends who'd just had babies. Each mum gets their own room now which is awesome. The nurses are nice.
There is plenty of (pay) level parking at the hospital.
Hopefully this hospital will be a real success, get positive reviews & a great reputation.
