Golden Age Cinema & Bar

What a funky little space this cinema is! Pop in early to enjoy a whisky cocktail, then move into the tiny cinema for a left-of-centre flick. Nice staff and sexy surrounds means I'll come back, even though the seats and sight lines aren't the best in town.

What an amazing concept, so beautifully executed. The glamour of old Hollywood is palpable here. You can even just go to enjoy the drinks at the bar without seeing a movie. You can see one of the films and enjoy food and drinks before and/or after the film. Nice to see old films being shown and contemporary ones too. You can even hire the venue for a function, how cool is that. Such a unique night out and the drinks and food are to die for.
