Golden Leaf Holiday Apartments

Just wanted to respond to negative reviews I've read. We didn't choose this holiday for a 5 star resort, it was a summer family break. 50m walk to Kings Beach, where the surf is perfect for swimming with children as it's not rough like the Gold Coast can be. There is also a shallow ocean pool perfect for kids. The apartments are a short walk to the town centre, plenty of great eateries, local markets, and all amenities.
The (very clean) resort swimming pool is very deep for children, that surprised me, but parents would never leave kids unattended would they??? We packed our own beach towels as a routine, so can't complain about provided towels.
