Golden Star Palace Chinese Restaurant
Cabramatta's 'Golden Star Palace' is a Chinese Yum Cha restaurant that specialise in traditional seafood dishes. The venue is popular for casual lunches, group dinners and functions (such as weddings). There is a stage area if need be. Bookings recommended for larger groups on the weekends.
They are perhaps best known for serving shark fin soup. Under Australian environmental conservation law finning sharks is illegal so the fins to make this soup are imported from China, Taiwan and the Philippines.

Not happy with the food
As always sat night, the wife and I went out for dinner
We wanted fresh fish the waiter recommended coral trout for $58
Why Not so we order the special and a vegi dish
After along wait we got our food
the first dish came out with 9 pic of fish around 3cm each
the 2nd came out after 15 min the vegi dish ok
the last came ourt after 30 min and what came out was again fish with 8 or 9 pics of fish with lots of bone only to find out it was the head
Call the waiter and he said he did tell me it was head and fillet
well just to let you know I am not going back and will never ever pay 58 dollar for half a fish again
Very very poor services
This is a great place to take someone you hate or want to get rid of.
You wait in a line of screaming parents & children, smelling their bad nappies or watching them get changed on the stairs, then finally get a table cramped beside a screaming family, wait for ages for the food then you have to try & eat it after all this & it is not even very good compared to other places.
Just because there is a huge line it does not mean the food is good, it just means that there are alot of people here that must be seen eating at the "in" spot.
