Tasty Chinese and Vietnamese dishes to the community.Welcome to Golden Sun Restaurant! For over 25 years,our restaurant has been serving Redland City,bringing authentic and tasty Chinese and Vietnamese dishes to the community.
We value authenticity in our dishes;however,we also provide some dishes that have a modern twist to suit the contemporary Australian palate. Our aim is to deliver quality foods that are fresh,healthy and delicious.
Our chef,Billy,was trained by a master chef in Hong Kong and has an extensive knowledge in traditional Chinese foods.His wife,Sue,assists him in the preparation of Vietnamese foods.
Billy was a winner of the Redland Professional Chef in 2007 and our restaurant was a finalist in the Redland Retail Awards in 2007 and 2008.
At our restaurant,you can expect a relaxed and positive atmosphere,excellent service and delicious food. We strive to exceed our customer's expectations.
We are a fully licensed restaurant (BYO wine only) and carry a wide range of liquors beers and wine.
We cater for all parties and functions. We seat up to 80 people in our restaurant and alfresco.

Was there with family and friends last week and everyone was happy. We had a pot of their special tea that was good to watch. They put this small ball in a glass teapot and it slowly opened up into a very pretty flower as it brewed. The tea tasted great and although the pot cost a bit more than a cup of everyday green tea, it was plenty for the six of us at the table. Fantastic food and a really good atmosphere. Staff are very friendly and the restaurant seems very clean and looks bright.
My family and I have been going to this restaurant ever since we moved to the area over 9 years ago. We have NEVER had a bad meal. The service has always been very friendly and the owner recognizes us and calls us by name.It's fabulous, especially the lunch special, brilliant value and you'll be hard-pressed to finish it, (unless you're a big bloke with an even bigger appetite, like my good self).
I have been dining at Golden Sun Restaurant for over 5 years. Every time i go the food is fresh and delicious, the staff are always clean and friendly and you definitely get more than what you pay for. This is an excellent restaurant, and i definitely recommend to anyone wanting to eat Chinese food, to go to Golden Sun Restaurant.
