I discovered this place one afternoon when I decided to actually explore a bit more of Epping Plaza beyond the little strip that I tend to find myself wondering along, and it was actually a pretty decent find. It is basically a coffee shop with all of the trappings, and a lovely selection of cakes. In the afternoon I generally go for a coffee when I'm out, but I decided to go for their pot of tea instead, which actually wasn't bad (at least it wasn't too strong, which tends to really annoy me). The staff were quite pleasant, and the décor inside was really nice. They also have a small outdoor area, though that is generally set aside for the smokers (though you don't have to be a smoker to sit out there). Okay, it is a bit out of my way (where Epping Plaza is concerned) but I'd have no problem coming here again.
I've been to most of the coffee places in Epping plaza and was not satisfied with the service or food until I tried Goldie's coffee house with my friends. Great customer service and the coffee I must say is brilliant! I am there just before work and then again straight after work... Love it
They do all day breakfast and refused to serve me. They were more in a hurry to close up or didnt want to stack the dishes. Very disappointed.
Why did they refused to serve you and in a hurry to close up? Did you arrived late? I think you must go into details so that we would know why is that so. Otherwise your review does not have enough facts and is very unfair for this business for a customer just claiming that they were refused to be serve.
I arrived there at 4:30pm if you wanted me to be specific I was so disappointed that the fact it was on a Thursday. You need to check with your staff as they were too busy talking to the so called guests. I only comment because I regularly go there to eat & to be refused like that, i felt like the establishment cant stand by the advertisement they give out to their guests. As much as I love going to golden coffee house, now after being so disappointed n so rudely served by their staff. Sadly to say I'm not very happy about the outcome. Now to save myself with such embarrassment ill have go look for another place to go enjoy my afternoons before work.
