Gombar's Motor Service

I have used Gombars several times in recent years and have been pleased with the service. The cost is reasonable I think. A good business in the area for your vehicle.

Great service, it was an easy pickup/dropoff. Service was carried out as described and whilst the 'hourly rate' was a little higher for normal mechanics, the bill was itemised to the exact minute. The workshop was clean and I can only imagine that they would have the same standard of work on my vehicle

Horrible service - I had my car service here couple weeks ago. I found that the staff accidentally stuffed up my fuel gauge (they completely ruined it - the gauge only shown at half tank. I then drove my car on highway - my car then completely stopped. I needed to get my car towed to the town near by. Another mechanic advised that my tank was completely empty and my fuel gauge was damaged. I was shocked as I just paid a big money to service at Gombar's motor. Then spoke to management, was horrible - not taking any responsibility and asked me to bring the car back to them right away. They would like check whether it is their fault or not..... For you who are considering this place for the first time, please don't use them - so expensive and horrible place.

Have been a patron of Gombars Motor Service for the best part of 15 years. The owner, David, is probably the most honest mechanic not only in the Canberra region but probably New South Wales. Their service is first class and is filled with honesty and integrity. I will recommend Gombars to every person I interact with
