Our visit was great. The managers were lovely. Our cabin spotless and comfortable. Good quality linen. My daughter and i were very happy with our overnight stay. Then to top it off, i was disappointed to have left a cardigan behind by accident. It was returned to me by express post 2 days later! Big thumbs up for country generosity.
We visited this resort for a day trip with friends, we found the receptionist to be very rude, we were quite shocked by how we were treated actually. As for the park it is really run down and in need of work. The facilities are poor and the owners have an over the top extensive list of rules and regulations which they enforce rudely. The lake is nice but thats it and without a boat there is nothing to do there. Would i return ? Absolutely not !!

This place I had to endure for a week. The cottages are absolutely tiny like a garden shed and an absolute disgrace to say they are suitable for 6 adults. They are tiny and only suitable for two maximum. Resort? Seriously? The lake is beautiful but do not kid yourself with the accommodation is shocking. I had GOOD HOPES for this place and was really looking forward to staying here - but will never set foot here again. They are rude. I feel like reporting this place to the advertising commission because what they are advertising as cottages would not even be classed as a cabin elsewhere.
Resort? What resort? This place is a dump, and that's being kind. The shower blocks are disgusting and dirty. The toilets are blocked, toilet paper runs out and no soap. Bugs everywhere. The tennis court is overgrown with weeds. The boat ramp is a disgrace. Rubbish overflowing from the bins. The receptionist is rude and unhelpful. They charge way too much for the cabins.
