First time here for me, staff are friendly, food was of a good standard for all in our party of 12.
I realise this is an old church but what a waste of space the quad height ceiling is. Why not put in a mezzanine floor and add extra seating?
After a long journey I arrived 30 minuets early. Being a hot day I didn't want to walk around the city so decided to wait inside. The couple of benches provided are awful, with my space utilisation idea in place a small lobby could be added with some comfortable seating. Would then be a 4 star review.
Around meal times, it tends to get busy and you have to wait a while for food (not a ridiculous amount of time though). It's a great place to go to after a night of drinking, since it's open 24 hours and it isn't too busy late at night. Food is good and the prices are also pretty good. Definitely a great place to go to.
I'd always heard good things about this place, and when trying it for the first time, I was quite disappointed. Hot food arrived cold and pancakes were swimming in syrup - some people may like that but I found it way too overpowering. Our nacho corn chips tasted stale. I'm apprehensive about going back.
I went here with a friend i got the bananarama and she got the classic short stack. Food was amazing! But i ordered a chocolate and it was cold when it came out, didn't even soften the marshmallows. Wasn't happy about this, but great service and not a very long wait on food. :)
I've been here several times with friends and chose it as the venue for my 21st. We've never been disappointed. During the party, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food is delicious, particularly the deserts range, and decent size portions for the price paid. It isn't a high end restaurant and does suffer from short staffing, so be prepared for a casual atmosphere. As mentioned previously, there is normally a wait on drinks. I've never had to wait long for the actual meal though. The restaurant is built inside an old church which, I think, it gives it great character. All in all, I highly recommend the place.
