Incredibly friendly service from the moment we entered the business. Service was prompt, including quick delivery of a lovely pina colada and our food. I didn't have pizza (other than the lovely herb and parmesan pizza bread), but specials from the board. I had the lamb, and it was lovely and tender (there was no mention that it would be medium, expecting it to be well-cooked, I ate it). The accompanying vegetables were equally as lovely (tiny bit salty for me but I don't eat much salt). My friend's chicken was divine! I also enjoyed the dessert, which the delightful waitress happily served in a takeaway container at my request (I wasn't sure I could fit it in!). The ambiance was beautiful. I walked away thoroughly satisfied, predominantly because service plays such a big part in my dining experience. I would highly recommend Goodfellas for a happy, relaxed, good quality dinner.
You can always count on affordable and tasty food from Goodfellas. The service is a little unprofessional at times, though always friendly. In my experience of eating there with a large group half of the meals arrived after the first half of the group had finished. In saying that, I have never had a problem with meals arriving in groups of 2 - 4. It is hard to get the attention of the waiters at times and quite often have to stand up and go to the bar to order a drink. The only really negative thing was a cocktail I ordered. It was made incorrectly and tasted terrible, I had to go and ask for it to be re-made (which I hate doing, as I hate causing a fuss!). However they were very friendly and re-made my cocktail without hesitance and it was delicious the second time.
All in all the atmosphere is not very 'restauranty' (meals are more counter pub style!) but enjoyable for a wood fired pizza and relaxed meal and drinks with friends.
Excellent food and amazing wine selection for reasonable prices. The service is perfect every time (though you might have to wait for it sometimes as it does get extremely busy). Make sure you book in advance, this place is very popular.
One of the cheapest places to eat in Margaret River ($20-30 for main) and one of the best!
