I think Dr Wayne Abbott is one of the best veterinarians in Queensland. My husband and I have taken our dogs to Dr Abbott from 2007 when we moved to the area. He supported my husband and I when it was time to end the suffering of our elderley dog. His knowledge and experience saved the life of our border collie puppy when he contracted spinal meningitis. When we were transferred to Rockhampton, we still consulted Dr Abbott for a second opinion when our dogs had issues or illnesses. Our pets are family and I get very upset and anxious when one of them is unwell. Dr Abbott has the patience of a saint. His calm and gentle manner puts not only my pets, but myself, at ease. My dogs love going to visit, however, my border collie puts his bottom in a corner whenever the thermometer comes out!

I first took my Mum's cat there and they were so good and caring, I now travel 1/2 hour from home with my animals too. The staff are very nice and the vet is a very caring human being. I find them honest and the Prices are great as well.

Thank you to Mr. Abbott (and his staff) for the care shown to our 8 months old Chihuahua, very recently. We are so happy we brought her to your clinic for her surgery. She appeared to have had very little discomfort, & stitches came out yesterday 27th Aug. 2016 ...10 days after her op .. and she is her happy active normal self again ... Mr. Abbott was out vet back in 1997 .. and we have not had a dog for many years since, until this little one...Highly recommend ... with thanks.

We have taken out dogs and cat to Dr. Abbott for more than 6 years now. We have found him to be so caring when it comes to our pets. It is clear that he loves what he does and his pricing is better than most we have been to over many years.
He won't charge you for unnesessary things, and he will always put the best interests of your animals first.
