I've been here twice. The first time I had fish and chips (average), the second time the Mediterranean salad with chicken (great). Parking is easy enough with a car park and street parking available. Menu is quite sufficient with burgers, sandwiches, soups, salads and seafood. Prices are reasonable. You order and pay at the counter, receive a buzzer and collect your food and cutlery when it goes off. Drinks are available at the bar. It's got a bit of a 'retirement village' vibe, but it's light and pleasant enough to sit around and chat in.
I visited Gordon Golf Club for lunch with a group of 7 work colleagues. Parking is easy with a car park and street parking abundant. Menu is basic but sufficient- it was my first visit but my colleagues indicated that the menu is quite inconsistent and undergoes major changes semi regularly (perhaps different restaurant management?). I had a salad and asked for croutons on the side, they came in the salad which was disappointing. A few people at my table ordered sandwiches- these looked pretty basic. Prices are average-reasonable and service is minimal (no table service, you order at the counter). Fit out is a bit tired could do with a refresh. Complaints aside, it was a nice quiet place where you could relax. We sat in the enclosed balcony area which overlooked the golf course which was pleasant.
