I had two RCD switches installed each worth not more than $50 and was charged in total $440 plus GST.
The job took less than one hour to complete but I had to wait more than two hours for the electrician to arrive. They promised to attend the call within two hours.
Going by how much I was charged, I will never use their service again. I wish I was paid more than $300 per hour for what I do for living.
Crooks! Hot water not working. Rang them to come out as we were desperate. Quoted on phone $180 to come out and then extra for any repairs. Guy came out said he checked element and connections, all were OK, problem was the ripple switch, AusGrid had to come and replace it. That cost me $363 - another $183 to check and not fix anything. Had to pay cash because their computer was down, he said he would email me the receipt. Never received the receipt. Ausgrid came out next day and said the Thermostat is faulty, advised us to get Gorgon Power to come back and repair since we paid that much fo nothing. They said they had no record of any one coming out. Hung up on my wife twice. Avoid this company!

Do not use this company. I had a problem on a Sunday and called three times. They finally sent someone around who quoted a high fixed price saying it was really complicated. Turns out it was a simple job, except in the process of fixing he breaks a safety switch and charges another fortune to replace it. So a bill of over $1200 for two hours work. I complained and the company took three weeks to get back to me to basically tell me that this is how they work!
