Gordon Thai Restaurant

Good thai food at a good price (especially for Gordon). The restaurant decor isn't as nice as the thai place across the road, but the food is tastier and better priced. Pad Thai and Pad See Ew are both good. Tea is free and you're given oranges and chocolates with each meal

Great tasting Thai served quickly with a smile.

They don't have a good grasp of the air conditioning - it is often too cold in both summer AND winter. The discount for takeaway means I can take dinner home for a family of 4 for about $40 including entrees, and still have some leftovers for lunch.

$9 lunch special is a winner.

This place has a good $9 lunch menu including curries, stir fries, soups e.t.c. Decent value and we had good service. Food quite good. Not a great atmosphere but a quite place where you can hear yourself talk.

This is a great place to go for a cheap and tasty meal. The food is decent, not the best Thai that I've had, but not the worst either. The meals are large and filling, and most mains are around $11 so they're great value for money. The service can be extremely slow, and at times you will have to flag down a staff member to find out where your food is. If you don't have time to wait around for slow service, they also offer take away which is a great option.

The food here was really not that bad. I would say it ranged from ordinary to satisfactory, and the price was fairly cheap. However, our server was inexperienced. In any event, and no blame on him, he had no idea what he was doing, and our food arrived in bizarre intervals (plain rice came 15 mins before curries...) sort of as an after thought. Was on a date at the time, definitely did not help.
