Gosford RSL Club

After hearing there reputation i could not wait to visit. Staff appear unhappy the restaurant need to hire a chef or atleast some who knows the difference between medium and burnt. I dont mind paying 60 dollars for two steaks and some chips but wow my order should not have left the kitchen burnt after ordering medium. Took 20 mins to enter concierge very pleasant but understaffed. Food there is disgusting and over cooked. Had a refund on the food and cancelled my membership on the way out. Stop beleiving your are the best as i was told on the way out. Worst Rsl ive attended shame on you and atleast tell you team to SMILE

Food here is terrible. After lining up for 15 minutes to order and seeing how busy the restaurant was, I was expecting it to be good food. I was very wrong. I ordered the 'snapper and prawns in secret batter' and my girlfriend ordered the spaghetti bolognaise. My food had obviously been left in the deep fryer for way to long, and looked very dark. My observations were correct, the prawns were so over cooked that I literally couldnt eat them, it was like chewy rubber. The snapper wasn't as bad, but still very dry and overcooked. The spaghetti was also average, but I guess thats what you get for $13 at an RSL. They have a cafe there too which serves food, and I havnt tried from there yet, and don't think I will bother.
