Goulburn River Stone Cottages is a bushland retreat in the Upper Hunter Valley that provides rustic-style, comfortable accommodation, with open fireplaces, privacy, spectacular scenery, native wildlife and wonderful bushwalks. It consists of self-contained cottages in a secluded valley, on the Goulburn River, 50 kilometres (40 minutes drive north) from Mudgee and 30 minutes drive north-east from Gulgong, in central west New South Wales. This 2000-acre property is surrounded by the Goulburn River National Park.Meander along the river through sandstone gorges, delight in watching birdlife by day or the stars at night from the verandah, or just relax in this wonderfully tranquil bushland.
