Gourmet on Gamon is a small and popular local caf that creates a cottage-home atmosphere with its timbre and straw furnishings and terrace dining area. Allocating a kids area with a childrens menu, the caf is accommodating and serves a variety of large filling breakfast plates, pies, sandwiches, foccacias, coffee and sweet cakes. The caf is open from Tuesday to Sunday and takeaway is available.

If you are in Seddon/Yarraville, then this place is worth a visit. This is a fantastic place to hang out with friends for dinner. The restaurant is in a converted house and it is now known as Lady Moustache, so you can sit up on the balcony if you wish, and the decor is fairly funky. The food is Mexican inspired, but I thought it was fairly average. $16 for nachos is a touch pricey, in my view. Service was friendly, though staff sometimes seemed a little overwhelmed. Staff happy to let you sit for hours and hours, hence why it's such a good hangout spot.
What a gem of a find. This is such a lovely cafe with a wonderful friendly atmosphere. They have a room out the back specifically catering to keeping the kids entertained and it is a godsend. We were made to feel so welcome and I gather that we weren't the only ones as nearly everyone who came in stopped for a chat with Alison who owns the cafe. Definitely drop in. We'll definitely be back often.
