Counselling is available in Joondalup, Western Australia. Medicare rebates are available if you have a "General Practitioner Mental Health Plan" - see your GP for more details. This is for people experiencing ongoing mental health issues such as depression etc.

Mark is qualified to counsel in the areas of mental health (depression, anxiety etc), relationships, family therapy, child focused therapy and indivdual matters.
All clients are treated with respect, dignity and confidentiality in a safe, caring environment.
All safety checks are up to date - including police clearances and Working With Children checks.

Mark is a full member of The Australian Association Of Social Workers and abides by the their code of ethics and professional conduct guidelines.

Mark's counselling approaches include - cognitive behavioural (linking thoughts to behaviours), role theory and psycho drama (identifying the 'roles' we play in different situations. For example who we are at work is different to who we are when with our family, who is different to who we are when intimate with our partners etc). What is our dominant role? What does it look like, feel like, sound like etc? Other approaches include Narrative Therapy (what is the dominant story we play over and over? Is it helping us or not?) and The Truth (do you absolutely, positively know that to be true?).
