Vet is easy accessible, however when called was told they could help small exotic pets, this was not really the case when I got there, I was asked to call up another vet who will see exotic animals, after about 5 minutes the appointment was over and still had to pay the full consultation fee. I would only suggest that if you need anything for an exotic pet to go elsewhere first, otherwise you will just pay consultation to be told to go elsewhere.
Our Burmese cat, Maya, suffered a serious injury recently and made a wonderful recovery thanks to the staff at Grange Veterinary Clinic, especially Dr Paul McGinley. Maya was able to be seen very soon after the injury and had the very best of care over the next month. Thanks to the staff there we now have our dear little cat back sitting on our laps purring again. They are dedicated, caring, friendly, on time and always very professional, as well as being very good at what they do. I cannot recommend this vet clinic highly enough.
Thanks do Dr Paul for saving my dog, Astro. I have been going to the Grange Vet for many years but recently moved house about 1/2 hour drive from there. I took Astro to the closest vet as I was in a bit of a rush as he had a very sore back leg. The vet really didn't look at Astro properly and said he had a torn cruciate ligament in his knee and wanted to operate on it the next day. I was a bit unsure and if he needed the surgery, I'd only want Dr Paul to do it anyway so I made an appointment to see him. He had a thorough look at him and found he had a very painful toe. He's got this amazing Xray machine where it comes up on his computer screen within a few seconds, and guess what, he had a broken toe! Even I could see it, so he put a splint on old Astro's foot and after a month it was back to new. Don't know how the stupid dog broke his toe but I will be making the trip every time to Dr Paul and his wonderful staff.
I found the Grange vet surgery to be very professional. The staff show excellent customer service and truly care about you and your pet. Pricing is very reasonable and I would definitely go back again. I would be more than happy to recommend Grange Vet to all my family and friends.
So, so thankful for Dr Paul and his great nurses! My little westy caught and ate a rat that had been killed with ratsac last week, and so I rang the vets immediately. The nurse fit me in straight away, and within 20 minutes of finding my dog eating the rat, she was already being looked after by Dr Paul! Everyone was so helpful and kind to me, (despite me being a very worried mum!) and I knew that my little one was in great hands. Fiona made a full, swift recovery, all thanks to all of the wonderful staff at the Grange Vet.
